Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–4 years welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of welding processes, materials, setup and parameters.
• Ability to safely operate fabrication tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Estimate labor hours and materials; Nevada driver’s license or ability to obtain one in 30 days.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, assemble, install, modify and repair parts and equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG and stick welding as required.
• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders.
• Measure, lay out and weld to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication tools and machinery.
• Troubleshoot defects and communicate issues through proper channels.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Test Technicians, Mechanics and customers.
