Freedom Motors USA, Inc. is seeking a Welder in Battle Creek, MI, onsite to perform MIG and TIG welding and fabrication for wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions. You will read engineering drawings and ensure welding meets safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and teamwork with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver durable components that enhance mobility for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MIG and TIG welding equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specs.
• Ensure welding tasks are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on welded parts to meet standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to meet goals.
• Assemble transfer seats.
• Manage inventory.
