Job summary

ATI is seeking skilled welders to plan, lay out and perform welding, grinding and air arcing operations to repair parts used in ATI rotary forge facilities, the press department, and with outside vendors.

You'll work from samples, drawings and instructions to complete repairs and fabrication, using carbon arc, TIG, and stick welding on super alloy electrodes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Use advanced shop mathematics, charts and samples to plan welds.
• Read complex drawings, sketches and samples for repair work.
• Select proper welding processes and methods for parts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, layout and perform welding, grinding and air arcing operations to repair parts.
• Work from samples, drawings and instructions to complete repairs and fabrication.
• Operate lifting equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
