Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. is seeking a TIG welder experienced in titanium welding for aerospace castings.

The role involves welding in a chamber under argon, using precision tools to repair castings, and ensuring conformity to specifications. The position requires a formal vocational program or 1+ year TIG welding experience, ability to pass welding and eye exams, and physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification or 1+ year TIG welding experience required.
• Must pass welding test within 4 weeks of start date.
• Must pass an annual eye exam.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld in chamber to repair titanium castings for aerospace applications.
• Use calipers and templates to repair castings to spec.
• Collaborate on rework plans to conform to specification.
• Load/unload castings from chamber and maintain clean work area.
