Job summary

Zobility in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a skilled welder to set up, tack, and weld ferrous and nonferrous materials. You will follow welding procedures, inspect outcomes, and ensure the highest quality while working with a team on large components.

Responsibilities include cutting, grinding, bending, deburring, and performing weld repairs per codes. This role requires passing tests for standards such as AWS, MIL STD, and ISO.

Qualifications

• Requires use of welding symbols, shop mathematics and measuring tools.
• Equivalent to four years of high school plus technical welding training.
• Must pass tests for standards (AWS, MIL STD, ISO, ASNT).
• GMAW Certification or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tack and weld ferrous and nonferrous materials.
• Follow welding procedure specifications and codes.
• Ensure aesthetic appearance and criticality of welds.
• Inspect welds to applicable criteria and perform rework when needed.
• Cut, grind, fit and bend parts to fit weldments.
• Clean and deburr welds to satisfy codes and customers.
• Weld large components with team collaboration and inspect results.
