Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC Career Center in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Welder to join our plant. You will read blueprints and weld components for infrastructure projects including drainage systems, pipes, bridges and stormwater structures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding procedures.
• Layout material using templates, patterns and markings.
• Align and assemble parts for welding using cranes/hoists.
• Operate cutting tools or plasma torch to achieve precise layouts.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
