Job summary

Komline Sanderson is seeking a skilled welder in Springfield, OH to join the FluidQuip division. You will weld and fabricate large-scale industrial equipment using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes, reading drawings and following strict quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years of welding experience, the ability to weld in multiple positions, and proficiency with measurement tools. Safety and teamwork are essential to support production, repairs, and custom fabrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of welding experience required across MIG, TIG and Stick processes.
• Ability to read weld symbols and basic metallurgy concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on stainless steel and other alloys as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, schematics, and work instructions.
• Set up welding equipment, select filler materials, and adjust settings by material type and thickness.
• Prepare materials for welding including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fixturing.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate tools and fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, rollers, and press brakes.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; maintain shop standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands.
