Job summary

General Labor Services is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client in King George, VA. This hands-on role builds rails, tacks forms, and supports fabrication activities for quality precast concrete production.

The position requires MIG welding and fabricating with attention to detail. Work is in-person, with a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule and a stable full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build rails and fabricate components to specifications.
• Tack forms and perform form maintenance and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with other fabrication shop duties as needed.
