Qualifications

• Completion of welding apprenticeship or 5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding with attention to quality.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and weld symbols to determine dimensions and material requirements.
• Measure, mark, cut, and fit metal components before welding.
• Set up welding equipment and select processes for each job.
• Weld and fabricate according to procedures and specs.
• Inspect welds for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
