Job summary

Wells is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Florida. You will read blueprints, fit parts, and weld assemblies to exact specifications, supporting efficient production and quality control.

Qualifications

• Three years welding/fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and depth gauges.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form subassemblies using blueprints and jigs.
• Study engineering drawings to determine material requirements and sequence of work.
• Move, lift, and position materials using cranes, hoists, or manual handling.
• Lay out, mark, and verify workpieces with measuring tools.
• Tack-weld, cut, grind, and prepare components to meet specs.
• Operate fabrication equipment: brakes, shears, rollers, drills, grinders, torches.
• Straighten, shape, and adjust metal parts with hand tools.
• Set up jigs/fixtures for accurate assembly and fabrication.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and dimensional standards.
