Job summary

Blaze Equipment Rental, LLC. seeks a Welding Technician to assemble mechanical structures with precision in a Fort Worth, TX facility. You will select welding methods, operate grinders, read SAE/Metric measurements, align with calipers, and weld in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.

Requirements include 2–4 years in related roles and a high school diploma; willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures; on-call weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or business training preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in parts sales, inventory management, service operations, or related field.
• Experience in equipment, industrial distribution, or service shop environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading trucks as needed.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment for a method based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the part that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
• Read SAE and Metric measurements.
• Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Be willing to learn forklift and telehandler operations.
• Identify opportunities to increase parts sales and improve margins.
• Practice good housekeeping of work area.
