Job summary

Drive Medical is seeking a full-time Welder to join our Richland, Michigan plant. The role requires interpreting blueprints, welding metal parts, and ensuring quality standards are met on complex assemblies.

You will operate welding equipment, read machining instructions, and maintain safety compliance while contributing to production goals. High school diploma and 2+ years of welding experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of basic welding experience.
• Experience with reading blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal components using gas welders and torches to form permanent bonds.
• Interprets blueprints and plans work sequences.
• Observes welds for quality and conformance to specs.
• Operates machine tools as needed (drill presses, grinders) per specs.
• Verifies conformance with measuring instruments.
• Reads machining instructions and blueprints.
• Adheres to OSHA, GMP, HACCP and safety rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
