Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate in welding from an accredited institution preferred.
• Minimum two years of welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
• Aluminum welding experience and heavy equipment manufacturing experience is a plus.
• ISO 9001 training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create quality welds according to blueprints.
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting parts.
• Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner.
• Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
• Must be able to weld components in flat, overhead, or vertical positions.
• Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products.
• Administer all welding activities such as riveting and welding small parts and finished products.
• Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required.
