Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows, a long-standing manufacturer of custom-engineered metal bellows, is seeking a candidate to read drawings, set up and operate equipment, and maintain quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts with micrometers and verniers, performing basic computer tasks for labor transactions, and forwarding items for dimensional checks when needed. HS diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and other documented work instructions.
• Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions; submit questionable settings to supervisor or technical leader.
• Maintain quality and productivity; make minor machine and tooling adjustments to meet requirements.
• Inspect parts using basic measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment; forward parts for dimensional inspection when required.
• Ensure quality requirements are maintained using quantitative charting techniques, including SPC.
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions and other required functions.
