Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA is seeking a skilled manufacturing worker to read drawings and follow documented work instructions. The role involves setting up standard equipment, maintaining operating conditions, and submitting questionable settings to a supervisor.

You will inspect parts with micrometers and verniers, perform visual weld checks, and apply basic SPC and statistical techniques to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and documented work instructions.
• Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions as prescribed, submitting questionable settings to appropriate supervisor or technical leader.
• Maintain required quality and productivity levels, making minor machine and tooling adjustments to comply with requirements.
• Inspect parts using basic measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment. Visually inspect parts for weld integrity; and when required, forward parts for dimensional correctness inspection.
• Ensure quality requirements are maintained using quantitative charting techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.

Hourly Rate Range: $ 22.00 - $27.00 per hour. with a 15% 2nd shift differential, Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
