AMI Metals, Inc. is a leading supplier for aerospace raw material products, with a strong safety and quality culture. We seek a dependable worker to pack and ship orders, handle equipment, and maintain accurate records in a busy facility.

The role requires reading, basic math, good judgment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred, and irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic math operations.
• REASONING ABILITY: Follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• CERTIFICATES: Forklift Certification preferred.
• OTHER ABILITIES: Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Builds skids or boxes for packing and shipping of all orders.
• Uses crosscut saw, miter saw, nail gun, staple gun and banding equipment as needed.
• Follows AMI packing and preservation policies and procedures.
• Performs quality inspections on orders to maintain 100% quality standards.
• Marks all shipments per customer and AMI procedures.
• Properly stencils shipping information as required.
• Provides maintenance and keeps records of all equipment.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Follows all company safety and quality policies.
• Participates in TQM and SPC meetings.
