Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Order Packer to join the Talley team in Woodridge, IL. You will perform quality checks, pack outbound orders securely, label and stage shipments, and help train newer staff in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience with handheld barcode scanners and desktop PC applications, and the ability to safely operate a pallet jack and tape machine. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

5+ years in a similar position utilizing a handheld barcode scanner and desktop PC applications.
High School or GED - Preferred.
Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, tape machine, and other ordinary tools.

Responsibilities

Perform a final quality check to verify accuracy of orders, transfers, and vendor claims.
Report discrepancies per established procedures.
Input data entry to document items and quantities in each packing transaction.
Prepare and package all outbound orders to protect against damage.
Attach packing lists, labels, and stage orders for shipment.
Identify expedited requirements and prioritize processing accordingly.
Assist in training new packing staff and other less experienced packers.
Report unsafe practices or accidents to the supervisor promptly.
Conduct packing supply inventory checks and maintain stock levels.
Demonstrate strong work ethic, honesty, and adherence to company policies.
Be adaptable to change and handle high-stress situations calmly.
