Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston to accurately select products, assemble orders, and prepare shipments. You will operate an electric pallet jack, label items, and move pallets to the dock while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Candidates should be able to lift heavy loads, stand for long periods, and work in cold environments. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Adherence to GMP/SQF standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Bend and twist while operating electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very cold or cool environments (cooler/freezer).
• Stand for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screens and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on products.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move to correct slot locations and transport to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report any damage to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks and assist in cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Sign in/out for equipment used and follow GMP and SQF policies.
