Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking an order picker at our Lexington branch to accurately select items using RF scanning and to maintain precise inventory records in our ERP system.

You will read orders, pick items from racks, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced warehouse. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, strong teamwork and communication skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs while operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability for bending, stooping, kneeling, and other warehouse tasks.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy.
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers.
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders.
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
