Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Sit-Down Forklift Operator. This hands-on role moves and secures pallets, handles shipping and receiving, and supports inventory control daily.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, use RF scanners, verify paperwork, and keep the warehouse clean and organized. The ideal candidate has warehouse/distribution experience, strong attention to detail, and reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Demonstrated warehouse experience in a distribution, supply, or logistics environment.
• Working knowledge of RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to operate basic computer systems and printers for paperwork and inventory.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock and orders.
• Clear communication and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers, positioning and securing pallets safely.
• Pull and fill orders with precision, then stage and wrap them for shipment.
• Receive and stock incoming inventory, complete basic shipping/receiving docs.
• Verify parts, serial numbers, and paperwork against inventory at each step.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Operate sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, with pre-shift checks.
• Assist counter sales with order fulfillment and help customers load product.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and running to standard.
