Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a General Warehouse Associate (Material Handler) for the 2nd shift in Carteret, NJ. The role focuses on picking, labeling, staging, and moving goods while ensuring safety and quality.

You will count, inspect, and report discrepancies, and you must comply with SOPs and company policies. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work in unregulated temperatures in warehouse.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, spoken).
• Basic to intermediate math used for counting and verifying quantities.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using a pallet jack and stage products per client requirements.
• Verify quantities and inspect products for damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the warehouse.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues with machinery.
• Work overtime as required and follow SOPs and policies.
