Build Precision with Atlas FibreJoin a team that values craftsmanship, autonomy, and continuous improvement. On our 2nd shift, you’ll be the precision driver behind FANUC-controlled VMCs, ensuring every first article paves the way for repeatable, high-quality production. Why This Role MattersOwn end-to-end setups on FANUC ROBODRILL CNC machining centers.Translate prints and GD&T into accurate, stable processes.Safeguard quality and throughput with disciplined inspection and tool management.Core ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate FANUC ROBODRILL CNC mills.Read blueprints/work instructions; apply GD&T correctly.Install tooling; set and verify work/tool offsets.Prepare vises, fixtures, and workholding for rigidity and repeatability.Validate first articles and fine-tune offsets as required.Monitor tool wear and perform timely replacements.Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges.Meet quality and production standards; follow all safety procedures.Qualifications3+ years of CNC mill setup experience.Experience with FANUC ROBODRILL or similar FANUC-controlled VMCs.Strong blueprint literacy and GD&T comprehension.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.Comfort holding tight tolerances in production environments.Compensation and How to Stand OutPosted range: $20–$29/hour. If your background exceeds this range, apply and complete the questionnaire below—tell us why you merit a higher rate. Exceptional candidates are evaluated individually.Technical QuestionnaireSetup Planning: What do you confirm from the blueprint, setup sheet, CNC program, tooling list, material, and workholding before starting? Offsets: Walk through your process for establishing and verifying work and tool offsets, including indicating the vise or fixture. First Article Diagnosis: If a first article fails, how do you determine whether the root cause is setup, tooling, program, workholding, machine, or measurement? Tooling Health: What signs indicate a tool is dull/chipped/deflecting/rubbing or unsuitable, and how do you correct? FANUC/ROBODRILL Background: Share years of setup experience, materials cut, typical tolerances, and your experience with offsets and first article inspections.Technical ProficienciesCNC ToolingG-CodeM-CodeCNC Machine Setup & ChangeoverMachine Setups for Production RunsEquipment You’ll RunCNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) (FANUC)CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (FANUC)Shift: 2nd Shift
