Job summary

Summer Classics is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to place and attach trim fabrics to frames according to brand standards and custom specifications. The role involves reading work orders and selecting materials to meet customer requirements while ensuring quality stitching and finish.

Responsibilities include attaching bindings and trim to frames, using hand and power tools, inspecting furniture for defects, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as an upholsterer.
• Ability to read work orders and apply knowledge to determine materials.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Attaches binding, braids, skirts or other trimming materials or fabrics to upholstered frames.
• Attaches bindings or apply solutions to edges of cut material to prevent raveling.
• Applies fasteners, grommets, buttons, buckles, and other accessories to covers or frames using hand tools.
