Job summary

RELIANCE, INC. is seeking a Tube Laser Operator in Plainfield, IN to set up, operate, and maintain tube laser equipment. You will load materials, import part files, adjust parameters, and inspect finished parts for blueprint conformance, using precision measuring tools.

A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints are essential. Compensation is base pay of $22.00-$24.00 per hour, with eligibility for benefits including health coverage, retirement plan, life/AD&D, EAP, PTO, and

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency with basic math and measurements.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain the tube laser machine(s) per SOPs and work instructions.
Select and load raw materials; import part files; adjust machine settings.
Inspect parts for conformance using precision tools and blueprints.
Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety protocols.
Transport packaged goods to staging areas using appropriate equipment.
