Job summary

Summit Bodyworks is hiring a Truck Body Assembler in Fort Lupton, CO. You will assemble components of custom truck bodies, read blueprints, measure parts, and mount finished boxes onto vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and work orders.
• Must read a tape measure.
• Efficient use of various power and hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and understand instructions.
• Cut wood or metals to sizes using saws and cutters.
• Assemble box components (Roof, Walls, Nose, Deck, Understructure, Lining) per blueprint.
• Mount the finished box onto vehicle systems and seal doors.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Operate pneumatic and hand tools.
• Perform safety and quality checks.
