Job summary

This role involves machining tasks to prepare tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine repair parts for manufacturing processes. Read drawings, set up lathes, grinders, and CNC mills; build jigs, dies and molds; perform precision measurement and routine machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years toolroom experience desired; Journeyman or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings or 3D CAD models.
• Set up and operate lathes, grinders, and CNC mills.
• Construct tooling, jigs, fixtures, dies, and molds.
• Test and measure finished components with precision tools.
• Repair, clean, and maintain factory equipment.
