Job summary

Clow Stamping Company is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain tooling and fixtures for precision metal components. You will work on both new components and on the production floor, ensuring tooling supports efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Hours are structured with shift options; compensation includes an hourly base plus shift differential. The role emphasizes blueprint reading, tooling knowledge, and collaboration with tool design and production teams.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Skilled use of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Experience with tooling and fixtures used in stamping operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tools and fixtures from basic items to complex form tools.
• Build machining and welding fixtures and prototype tooling.
• Run prototype parts in the toolroom as needed.
• Monitor in-process and next-run repairs on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot production jobs, adjust tooling, and perform repairs.
