Job summary

Kelco Industries is seeking a skilled machinist to analyze specifications, lay out stock, and set up and operate machine tools to fabricate and repair dies, tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and prototypes.

You will measure, mark, and inspect parts, ensuring conformance to blueprints and models while applying lean principles to meet EMS and QMS standards. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency is required.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to five years related experience
• Knowledge of EMS and QMS policies in manufacturing environments
• Experience setting up and operating machine tools to fabricate parts

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and lay out metal stock to fabricate dies and fixtures
• Set up and operate lathes, drills, milling machines, and grinders
• Measure, mark and inspect machined parts for conformance to specs
• Apply lean principles to meet QMS/EMS requirements
• Maintain safe, efficient production with attention to detail
