Qualifications

• Must have completed a pipe welder program at a vo-tech or trade school.
• Training in TIG root and stick fill and cap on steel piping (6GR).

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel and copper-nickel piping using GTAW/TIG.
• Work in a shipyard environment with rotating shifts and safety standards.
• May work at varying heights and in confined spaces as ships are built.
• Adhere to shipyard safety procedures and quality requirements.
