Job summary

Aerotek in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the thin film manufacturing process, including coating, metrology, inspection, cleaning, and assembly. This role emphasizes data interpretation, GMP compliance, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across operations, handle delicate parts from millimeters to kilograms, and use Excel and other manufacturing software for data recording.

Qualifications

• Experience in thin film manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong data entry and math skills for analysis of production data.
• Ability to interpret procedures and follow GMP/safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently after training and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the thin film manufacturing process, including coating, metrology, fabrication, parts cleaning and assembly.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products to ensure quality.
• Handle fragile products and parts of varying sizes and weights with care.
• Follow SOPs precisely and suggest continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain GMP, safety, and housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Document findings from product and machine inspections accurately.
• Analyze production data and report abnormalities promptly.
• Assemble fixtures and calibrate tools according to specs.
• Clean products and equipment using approved solvents while following safety procedures.
• Train lab technicians and assist teams via Teams and email.
