Job summary

The Zeus Industrial Products TFE Operator role involves operating an extrusion line, troubleshooting and documenting quality of materials to meet specifications. You will load tooling, monitor the extruder and ensure consistent wall thickness while keeping the workstation clean and safe.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability to follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, read and write legibly, and perform basic math. Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively and pushing/pulling around 11 lbs.
• Ability to inspect cosmetics and color differentiation.
• Basic math skills and legible reading/writing.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
• Meet physical demands and have basic data manipulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install tooling, load and monitor extruder with minimal downtime.
• Produce pre-forms from resin as ordered.
• Maintain wall thickness of tubing to spec.
• Operate a single machine and keep it in good condition.
• Keep tooling and machines clean and safe.
• Polish and straighten tooling on the lathe.
• Maintain clean work area and observe safety rules.
• Communicate effectively within the department.
