Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adapt to changing situations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly; push/pull ~11 lbs; walk stairs.
• Ability to perform visual inspections for cosmetic defects and color variations.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals; read/write legibly.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential for meeting production goals.
• Meet WorkKeys requirements: Reading Level 3 and Math Level 4.

Responsibilities

• Install tooling, load, run and monitor extruder with minimal downtime.
• Produce resin-based pre-forms as per order cards.
• Measure and maintain proper tubing wall thickness.
• Operate a single extrusion machine.
• Maintain tooling and machines in good working order.
• Polish and straighten tooling on the lathe.
• Keep the work area clean and free from debris.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations; ensure clear communication within the department.
