Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a hands-on Technician to support testing and calibration activities in our manufacturing environment in Ohio. You will work on diverse tasks including data analysis, fixture design, and process improvements to increase efficiency.

The role emphasizes reading assembly prints, following instructions, and maintaining equipment, with a requirement to obtain a Secret clearance. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and basic MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and specialized training beyond high school usually 6–24 months of industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and experience using hand tools.
• Must be able to read assembly prints and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Hands-on with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles and/or Six Sigma tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates process and manufacturing problems during testing and initiates corrective actions.
• Determines proper test set-ups, tests, and troubleshoots, notifying appropriate personnel when problems arise.
• Prepares graphs, charts and tabulations of testing data and analyzes data.
• Calibrates, adjusts, operates and maintains environmental test equipment as required.
• Assist in designing tools, jigs and fixtures to increase production efficiency.
• Coordinate across operations to meet project schedules.
