Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Test Technician to join the production/testing organization, supporting quality-focused operations with a hands-on mindset and detail orientation.

The role requires following detailed work instructions, performing testing, collecting data, calibrating equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year technical degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing and/or electronics testing experience.
• Comfort working in a cleanroom environment using appropriate PPE.
• Experience using test equipment preferred (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Chart Recorders).
• Ability to read detailed drawings and perform basic problem solving on electronic and mechanical assemblies at the component and system level.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using prescribed methods and work instructions to support high-quality output.
• Collect test data for the database, analyze results, and help drive process decisions.
• Assist with selection and/or setup of specialized equipment to ensure accurate testing.
• Conduct a wide variety of analysis to identify and address problems.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on machines; rebuild manufacturing equipment when needed to maintain operability.
