Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and weld custom aluminum boxes for industrial electrical control panels and to perform structural welding for heavy-duty E-House frames. Precision and blueprint reading are essential.

You will execute TIG, MIG, FCAW, and oxy-fuel welds, read drawings, inspect welds to tolerances, and prepare materials per project specs. Safe, clean work environment with PPE provided on-site; multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience welding aluminum and heavy-duty frames is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise welds on metal components using TIG, MIG, FCAW, and oxy-fuel welding techniques.
• Perform structural welding (3G and 4G positions) for E-House frames.
• Fabricate, measure, cut, and prepare materials strictly according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings prior to initiating each build.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure strict adherence to blueprint tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Source and handle raw materials necessary for scheduled welding projects.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment using required PPE.
• Working hours: 7:00 AM - 2:30 AM (Various Shifts Available)
