Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a skilled metal fabricator/assembler to join our Wisconsin team. You will assemble large metal structures per blueprints, using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and CAD/CAM aids. Focus on quality, safety, and meeting project deadlines within a collaborative environment.

You’ll work with welders, fabricators, and supervisors, perform quality checks, and participate in ongoing training to advance fabrication techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience as assembler in metal fabrication environment.
• Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to use hand and power tools, welding equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; fast-paced setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving to ensure quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in metal fabrication.
• Experience with CAD/CAM programs for design and layout.
• Experience with metals (steel, aluminum, stainless).

Responsibilities

• Assemble large/heavy metal structures using hand tools.
• Use tape measures; convert decimals to fractions; follow specs.
• Work with ladders, lifts, cranes as required; assemble per blueprints.
• Utilize welding equipment and machinery to fabricate parts.
• Perform quality checks to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; follow safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate with teams to coordinate tasks.
• Participate in training to enhance metal fabrication skills.
