Job summary

Jensen Precast is seeking a Bender Shear Operator to create steel cages based on production drawings in our production facility. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to schedules to support cage fabrication and overall production flow.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work with the cage fabrication, quality control and production teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of cages according to drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture rebar cages and related components per production drawings using bender and shear.
• Package steel reinforcing for transport to cage department.
• Coordinate with cage fabrication, quality control and production teams.
• Maintain day-to-day scheduling with a one-day look-ahead to the Cage department.
• Understand Just-In-Time (JIT) principles and prepare materials for the next day’s tasks.
