Job summary

AOC Metal Works is seeking a Stamping Press Operator in Chester, VA to set up and operate stamping presses, shaping metal components per production specs. You will learn and follow safety procedures while maintaining an organized workspace and producing quality parts.

Responsibilities include inspecting dies, adjusting machine settings, monitoring production, and documenting output and downtime. Strong reading of blueprints and use of precision measuring tools are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required; metal fabrication or stamping preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and basic production specifications.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and thread or other applicable gauges.
• Ability to identify defects in small or complex parts and follow quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up stamping presses and adjust dies and machine settings.
• Operate stamping press to form, cut, or shape parts.
• Inspect parts with gauges to verify dimensions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow LOTO and safety procedures.
• Record production data and report issues to supervisors.
