Job summary

HUBER Technology US in Denver, NC is seeking a Stainless Steel MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator responsible for fitting and fabricating stainless components per drawings and producing high-quality, watertight welds using GMAW.

This full-time role requires reading work orders, setting up welding equipment, preparing surfaces, and performing 95% GMAW and 5% GTAW with attention to safety and accuracy; hours are 6am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Basic PC experience required.
• Serious work ethic necessary.
• Good math skills expected.
• Ability to work under supervision and independently follow work orders.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must pass pre-hire background check.
• Maintain logs for company equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints for welding tasks.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment to specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces and remove impurities.
• Perform welding tasks (95% GMAW, 5% GTAW) on stainless steel.
• De-burr and finish surfaces for quality welds.
• Cut, bevel, and contour metal pieces with power tools.
• Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling components.
• Monitor equipment and temperatures to avoid overheating.
• Fit piping and structural members to drawings.
• Mount or secure pieces on production equipment.
• Conserve materials and follow safety policies.
• Understand heat effects on stainless steel and control distortion.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy.
• Carry out environmental and waste management policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and laws.
