Qualifications

• Hands-on finishing experience in a machine shop or similar setting.
• Proficient in sanding and polishing processes, including orbital sanding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Comfort using computers to access work instructions and production information.

Responsibilities

• Finish stainless steel parts to specified quality and appearance standards.
• Use orbital sanders, pneumatic polishers, and hand tools to sand and polish surfaces.
• Follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate finishing equipment safely in a machine shop environment.
• Inspect completed work visually and dimensionally for compliance.
