Job summary

Mazak Corporation is seeking a spindle repair technician to rebuild high-quality machine tool spindles for customers in the manufacturing industry. You will be part of a state-of-the-art facility with instructional leadership and a teamwork-driven atmosphere where open communication is valued.

Responsibilities include assembling and repairing spindles, diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, documenting findings, and using Excel to place parts orders while maintaining safe, organized work

Qualifications

• 2 years in a mechanical field required or preferred.
• 2-year degree in mechanical field preferred.
• Ability to pass a Mechanical Aptitude test.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair machine tool spindles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems of machine tool spindles
• Disassemble and write clear and concise reports for each job
• Use Microsoft Excel to place parts orders
• Maintain testing equipment
• Keep a clean and safe work Environment
• Follow Check sheets to build spindles back to OEM specifications
