Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking laboratory technicians to convert field samples into numerical data for Proctor curves, sieve analyses, Atterberg limits, moisture contents, and compressive strength tests.

You will work within a documented AASHTO R18 quality system using calibrated equipment and hold yourself accountable for every result leaving the lab. Training and growth opportunities are available as you progress in this role.

Qualifications

• Attention to precise measurement and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and follow standardized procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive, precise tasks consistently.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39 testing
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody
• Break cylinders and report strength results same day
• Support proficiency sample programs and accreditation assessments
