Job summary

You will verify BOMs, machine programs, setup documentation, and customer requirements to ensure accurate and efficient changeovers in a fast-paced environment. This role collaborates with SMT Operators, Material Handling, Quality, Engineering, and Production, requiring meticulous attention to detail, ESD/MSD handling, and strict 5S adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT setup, feeder preparation, and electronics manufacturing workflows.
• Ability to follow setup sheets, BOMs, and documentation precisely.
• Attention to detail and capacity to maintain material traceability and ESD/MSD controls.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, BOMs, setup sheets, and machine load lists before starting a setup.
• Stage feeders, reels, and components for scheduled SMT production jobs.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, polarity, and feeder locations against approved setup docs.
• Load reels into feeders and install feeders on carts per program requirements.
• Record materials and production data to maintain traceability.
• Prepare offline setups to minimize downtime and support changeovers.
• Assist with loading and changing over SMT pick-and-place equipment.
• Identify and report shortages, damaged feeders, or documentation discrepancies.
