Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a PCB Inspector for first shift in the United States. You will inspect printed circuit boards for defects, measure dimensions, and verify plating and solder mask integrity using precision tools.

The role requires 1+ year of inspection experience, high school or equivalent education, and the ability to follow safety procedures. You will work with a team to ensure high quality assemblies and record defect data.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of PCB inspection experience.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCB circuitry to detect defects such as shorts, breaks, mislayouts.
• Brush solder mask ink on PCBs to repair defects.
• Scrape excess plating or mask ink from PCBs.
• Repair broken circuitry with a soldering iron.
• Record defect types and quantities.
• Test solder mask ink adhesion to PCBs.
• Test continuity of PCB circuits.
• May inspect inner layers of multilayer PCBs and be designated x-ray technician.
