Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Previous experience in medical equipment assembly preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in surface mount soldering and reading blueprints.
• Ability to work on an assembly line and as part of a team.
• Proficient with various solders, fluxes, paste, and rinses.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, jigs, gauges and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products in any state, from partial to complete.
• Performs surface mount soldering on a parts and sub-assemblies where the application of heat must be carefully controlled.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and reworks non-conforming units in order to return them to acceptable status.
• Replaces malfunctioning parts and/or sub-assemblies, as necessary.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, soldering irons, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring and test equipment to produce finished electronic products that meet all stated requirements.
• Check your inventory to ensure you have the right materials on hand.
• Use tools and machinery to assemble your part of the product.
• Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity.
• Report on your output for the day.
