Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring an Electronics Assembly & Hand Solder Technician for a long-term role. You will assemble, inspect, and test electronic products with emphasis on PCBs and solder joints, using hand soldering and SMT equipment in a precision-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hand soldering and electronics assembly.
• Through-hole PCB work preferred.
• Pick & Place (SMT) experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards preferred.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and basic schematics.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Team oriented and able to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and test electronic products to meet quality standards.
• Perform precision hand soldering on PCBs and verify placements.
• Set up and operate SMT equipment, including SMT machines.
• Prepare components by cutting, bending, and forming leads.
• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies for quality.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rework assemblies as needed.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Document production results and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
