OmniMax in Lancaster, PA seeks a skilled Slitter Operator for 2nd shift. You will operate slitter equipment, monitor quality, and ensure safe production while following drawings and schedules.

Qualifications include 1-2 years in slitter operation, forklift experience, ability with fractions/decimals, and familiarity with micrometers/calipers. Proficiency with Oracle is a plus; attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Slitter operator experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong mathematical ability – working with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret charts, specifications, and production schedules.
• Experience using micrometer and calipers.
• Solid computer skills, specifically Oracle.
• A detail-oriented nature.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe work environment.
• Using measuring tools to check metal gage and roll diameters.
• Using computer-controlled equipment to monitor/operate line.
• Working from drawings, work orders, specifications, instructions, and established methods and procedures.
• Using powered forklift trucks for material handling.
• Setting up separator blades to ensure proper fan out and eliminate rolled edges.
• Interpreting drawings and specs to plan setups.
• Making repairs and adjustments to equipment; refer major repairs to maintenance.
• Detecting and reporting faulty operation, defective material and equipment to supervisor.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly workplace; completing time and production reports.
