Job summary

Backcountry workshop is seeking a Ski Mounting Technician for seasonal work with CSC Generation. You will mount, calibrate, test, and release-check ski bindings, using jigs, torque wrenches, and release testers while following safety and manufacturer specs.

The role requires precision, focus, and the ability to work independently in a workshop, with overtime during peak season and an emphasis on quality and tool maintenance.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be 18 years or older.
• Previous ski tech or bindings mounting preferred; technical background is a plus.
• Ability to read mounting charts and follow instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to safety/quality.
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct guest interaction.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Accurately mount, calibrate, test, and release-check ski bindings per specs and safety standards.
• Use workshop tools and keep them calibrated (jigs, torque wrenches, testers).
• Use warehouse management and mounting software.
• Inspect skis/bindings for wear or defects and document work.
• Support inventory, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Keep workshop clean and organized to meet safety standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and management for workflow efficiency.
