Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Perform quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Report discrepancies or issues in the assembly process to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Keep accurate records of assembly activities and production output.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
