Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Welder/Fabricator at our Northwood, OH fabrication team. The ideal candidate will fabricate and weld metal components from blueprints and drawings, adhering to precise dimensions and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, measuring accurately, performing MIG and Stick welds, and inspecting finished work. Candidates should have welding training or certification and strong attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience.
• Demonstrated MIG welding experience.
• Demonstrated Stick/Arc welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to measure accurately with tape measures and tools.
• Knowledge of tolerances and precision fabrication.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication instructions.
• Measure, lay out, cut, fit, tack, and weld metal components.
• Fabricate weldments according to drawings and dimensions.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding on various components.
• Inspect finished work for dimensions, fit, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
